The other day I was out cleaning my car and I pulled out my DP gel wheel cleaner for the wheels. I love this stuff. You spray it on the wheels and the gel clings to the surface. You just have to agitate it slightly with a soft bristled wheel face brush and then rinse with water and you're done!! The brush bristles even come clean with a spray of water too! When I went later to dry the wheels I used a white BJ's MF and the after drying all of the wheels the MF didn't have a single smudge of dirt on it anywhere. I really love this cleaner. It is very easy to use and does the job fast. I'm sorry I don't have any pics to show you, but this pic that I pulled off the AG site is very accurate as to how the product made my wheels look. Thanks for taking the time to read my review. :)

Best wheel cleaner I've used. and no worries about it harming the paint like with some other poopy wheel cleaners.

:iagree:

The DP Wheel Cleaner is great! I love the fact that you can also use it to clean your tires.

This stuff is great, only surpassed by the DP Wheel sealant. That stuff works amazing. Brake dust simple washes off with water for a few weeks! :awesome:

I used the wheel cleaner for the first time last weekend... Worked very well.. although since this was the first time using a Gel cleaner I put it on WAAY too thick.. it was a goopy mess when I agitated it with my wheel brush..... (I could have cleaned the whole block's tires and wheels with that I had on 1 tire...)....
I then used the Wheel Glaze after drying it and it had great shine.... I will try to go only wheel glaze in the future as long as I can keep up with cleaning them.....

Yeah, I like to follow up the DP Wheel Cleaner by sealing my wheels with the DP Spray Sealant. Prior to that I was using Optimum Car Wax. Personally, I just find spray on LSPs quicker and easier to apply to wheels compared to paste sealants.

I also like mine DP gel wheel cleaner. It's inexpensive when bought by the gallon, safe, and it really works!

I truly love the DP Gel for wifes truck and wheel cleaning. That said, as typical of gels, you cannot easily get into the barrels of the wheels. I hope that DP will consider a liquid spray version also.

I recently started using the P21S Total Wash on the inside barrels after watching that million dollar detailer use it on the cars paint. It works quite well in the mean time.

Absolutely one of the best wheel cleaners I've used to date. Go easy though when you use it as it's very easy to over use and waste product. The gel stays where you spray it(no drip)----lightly agitate the gel to create a light foam, or suds, then spray off and you'll have spotless wheels! Truly great stuff. I'm with killr though, would like a more "liquid" spray version with the same cleaning ability.

I wonder what would work better, DP Gel Cleaner, or the DP APC spray?

DP Exterior Cleaner is a little harsher from experience. I use it in the wheel wheels, but not on wheels. I rather play it safe, as uncoated and painted wheels have only one chance at being clean without damage.
