I purchased DP Glass Restorer on BOGO last week and couldn't wait to try it.
My car is 9 years old and there are water spots/deposits all over the windshield, side windows and mirrors.
Part 1 Mirrors:
Products used: DP Glass Restorer
Stoners Invisible Glass
303 AP
Terry Cloth
Microfiber Towel
Cotton Swaps
I applied about a nickle size drop to a soft terry cloth then rubbed the mirror in a circular motion using just one finger, my mirrors are pretty small. I held the glass with the other hand so it wasn't moving around and wouldn't pop out. I rubbed it in until it started to dry and haze over then buffed it off with a microfiber cloth. I then inspected the mirror and saw I had missed a few spots so I repeated the process. After all spots had been removed I cleaned the mirror with Stoners IG and applied some 303AP with a cotton swab to the small frame around the glass.
DP Glass Restorer was very easy to use and removed all the water deposits very quickly. I spent maybe 30 minutes doing both mirrors.
Pros: Easy to use
Easy to clean up
Removed spots/deposits quickly
Price, a little goes a long way
Cons: Can't see any at this point
Here is a before picture of my mirror, the glass is clean, those are spot/deposits on it:
and here is after cleaning with DP Glass Restorer:
I was very impressed with the results. Next I am going to do the windows using a DA polisher. I will update my results when I am finished.
