Hi folks,

First off, thanks to Nick for sending me a gallon of this product review. I have lots of pictures of this APC in use on my phone, and will upload them in further posts. My busy season has started really early this year, and am a little pinched for time.

I will start off this review saying I am a bit of an APC snob. I have probably used a dozen different kinds over the years and am extremely picky. In my opinion, All Purpose Cleaners should be All Purpose, meaning interior and exterior use for a variety of reasons. There are a lot of APC's out there now days that are only for interior or exterior use, many that have restrictions on what they should or should not be used for. I'm looking for an APC that can used on almost every single reasonable cleaning task, inside and out.

I will go into this explaining all the surfaces I've used DP Hi-Intensity APC on, and how it has worked.

Tires/Wheels:

I've used two 32 oz. bottles of this at 1:4 so far on wheels and tires, and this stuff is excellent, especially on tires. A dedicated wheel cleaner will get you slightly better results on wheels, especially if there are a lot of embedded iron particles from brake dust. I use a short handle brush on tires and after several revolutions scrubbing the tire, it is usually muddy brown from all of the dirt that is released. Very rarely do I have to do the tire twice to get optimal results.

Interior plastics:

I've used this 1:10 on interior plastics and vinyls and it works excellent. With very light scrubbing of a nylon brush, it will take even toughly embedded grime off with ease. Let it set for 30 seconds - 1 minute on nasty cup holders, agitate with a brush, wipe out, and they are done.

Cloth seats/carpet:

I did a basic detail on a Suzuki with cloth seats yesterday that were really nasty. Client was not paying for carpets/seats, but I wanted to go the extra mile so I took a MF damp with DP APC 1:10 and started gently wiping the seats to see if I could get any results. I kid you not, the cloth cleaned up perfect. I would have expected similar results with steam after pre treating the seats. I was thoroughly impressed. I have used it on floor mats with excellent results as well.

Nav screens/glass:

I have used this 1:10 on nav screens, worked perfect. Had a Charger that got stuck in the mud and slung mud all on the drivers door/window. I used this APC 1:10 to clean the mud off, then followed with a glass cleaner. Cleaned up perfect, no residue from the APC visible.

Exterior surfaces/bug remover:

I have not been able to remove any bugs yet unfortunately, but have used it on nasty rocker panels and rear bumpers where there was built up grime/grease/dirt that would not have come loose just by the wash process. After a 30 second soak in 1:4 the effected areas washed off easily.

I have used it to remove old wax residue(not my own) from plastics and trim as well, worked perfectly.

Other things to consider:

The scent is excellent. A light citrus scent but not so strong it smells fruity. You can still tell it is a chemical cleaner.

Dilution ratios are excellent. You will get 5 - 11 gallons of RTU product out of each gallon of concentrate.

Overall evaluation:

This is one of the finest truly all purpose cleaners on the market. In my opinion it is even slightly better than Megs APC+, which is no longer available for most people but will considered by me the finest APC I have ever used. The price is competitive, and if you are in business to make money the dilution ratios make it an easy choice for a daily use APC. If you are not in business, a gallon of this product could last you years.

A+ overall rating, and I will reiterate that I am a truly picky person when it comes to APC's.

Personally, I'm going to be adding the two gallon pack with the spray bottle to my next order.

Thanks for reading, I will pictures from my phone as time allows of various times I have used this product.

Thanks for sharing VP Mark.
From your feedback, I can tell DP apc is excellent for interior cleaning. I'm always a fan of meg QID and looks like this is a winner for me as it also works great on vinyl & leather.

Btw, have you tried 1:4 on interior tough stain? Or the 1:10 ratio can tackle everything for interior even on fabric?
So I assume this is also safe on Navi screen and suede/alcantara?

Thank you

Regards

Thanks Mark! I will have to put that on my next purchase

Thanks for the write up - looking forward to the photos!

Thanks for the excellent review Mark, I'm anxious to see the photos! :dblthumb2:

I think you hit the nail on the head with every point made, and I'm glad to hear you were our guinea pig for navigation screens.

The third pic the wheel was cleaned with Meg's wheel brightener. The tire was cleaned with DP APC. I will update with more pics as I continue to use the product and document it.
