Hey guys i have a question i have dp surface protectan and i was thinking about using this as for my weekly quick details for my interior but i was worried that it will strip off my monthly protection.... i want something for last minute touch ups that will give me that just detail look that wont strip off the protection and that will add a little more protection would dp surface protectant right for the job or should i go for something else ?

This is my montly process on my interior

Vinyl & Plastic
Clean with Dp Total Interior Cleaner
Protect With
303 aerospace protectant

Leather
Clean with Lexol Leather Cleaner
Protect with Lexol Leather Conditioner & 303 aerospace preotectant

I want something that would clean very light dirt and would still leave my previous protection and still add protection

I really like Meguiar's Quik Detailer Wipes for this purpose.
Or just use DP bi-weekly.

so the dp surface protectant wont stripp off the previous protection?

i dont see how it is possible to clean off the dirt without removing any of the conditioner... just my analytical mind maybe.

i found that the pinnacle leather and vinyl cleaner and the seperate conditioner work awesome. instead of being silicone based like lexol, the lanolin based pinnacle conditioner leaves the leather soft and matte, instead of sticky and shiny. not to mention, lanolin is a much better leather conditioner.

the dp stuff is a god cleaner though, but i doubt it cleans without removing the previous conditioner.

Since you're using 303 Protectant as your monthly application, why not use it as your weekly app also. Either that or use DP Protectant for both. Weekly I just use a damp MF wipedown for dust and then apply protectant (I use DP). It seems to have some cleaning ability itself which I always liked.

yeah but the thing is that my interior doesnt get dirty at all only weekly vacuum i just wanted something that that would give that just detail look without removing any of my monthly protectant

Even if it partially will remove previous protection coat, it will add it's own.

I think Meguiar's Quick Interior Detail would be what you are looking for. DP's interior protectant is itself a protectant not a cleaner. :)
