I have the 2 pack MW and I was wondering if all the lids were hard to close? It seems like something is not lined up right?

i haven't checked mine..i do have the same problem with my natty's blue/white

Same problem here too. I just got my two pack yesterday and thought the lid was going to break when I was trying to screw it back on. Tried the other container and same thing.

I have a few wax's that are in containers like that...and all have that problem...its a pain...the container maker needs to redesign the thread system..

That's one thing I don't like about Max Wax - is its lids. Always gotta force it on...

Ya, same here. I do wish they would just come in the same kind of container as Souveran (with the O-ring and everything). My only complaint about MaxWax. The actual wax is still my favorite though.

YESSS I can stand that. No problems with SSII or Souveran Paste though. If you find a big enough o- ring then you should be able to stick it on there no problem.

I have a lot of problems with the lid on my Max Wax as well. I really have to force it on.

I also have a lot of problems with the cap on my Collonite 845. It never stays on. The other day I shook up the bottle because I was going to use some and the cap flew off. It wasn't pretty.

Are you talking about that crappy child proof cap? I got rid of that the first day I had my 845. If you buy Poorboys products, they ship with a flip up lid (the spray bottles have these, and you take them off to put the sprayer on). I just took one of those lids, put it on the 845, and it is great. Now I actually have control on how much comes out and don't have to screw around with the child proof cap.

Same thing happened to me last year when using 845 for my winter prep...lost a lot of product to the driveway. I have since switched to the flip-top lid.

I wonder if one of the older Pinnacle lids , or washer out of it would work. Mine too is a bit rough but never thought a complaint was in order.

I bought the 2 pack recently. Lids are a bit of a pain. Great wax not so good lid.

Yeah, you've gotta turn them on or push down on them until they snap, then they're ok. No problem though---easy enough.

I bought maxwax a while ago, and noticed the problem as well. Something is not properly lined up. I just force it on there and all is well :)

Thanks for the feedback!

We are aware of the fit of the Max Wax lids. This is due to expansion of the jars during the pouring process.

The jars for the next batch have been upgraded to ensure a better fit.

That's one heck of a bass you have there Dwayne!!! Nice catch!
Thanks! This was my biggest bass ever and it was loads of fun to catch. We were using shiners and the shiner jumped out of the water and the bass made a huge wake before making an explosion on top of the water. I had 50lb braided line (12lb diameter) and a Shimano medium-light spinning setup.

We took a few pictures and I watched her swim away.
