Hi all! I diligently prepped and applied DP Paint coating to my brand new 2015 Ford Lariat about 4 months ago. I washed, Iron x'd, clayed, and polished lightly with Menzerna finishing polish. Then I did a rewash and used the DP pre coating paint cleaner. I applied the DP Paint Coating and was super impressed with the look, feel, and ease of application. For about 3 months it held up great and beaded tightly. During the course of the 3 months I had used PB bug squash to remove guts and splatter and beading was still present. A month later after a 1200 mile round trip (only 2 days so bugs werent on there long time) I came home and washed the truck. This time I was out of Bug Squash and used Seafoam Bug-B-Gone. After final wash I noticed beading on grill, front hood, etc was non-existent. I thought no big deal probably just some residue. I have wash 3 times since then and lightly clayed the front on the last(3rd) wash. Zero beading on those areas they saw the use of Bug-B-Gone. I had hoped the DP Paint Coating would have held up to harsh chemicals better than that. Anybody else experience similar issues with this coating or have suggestions for me. Side panels and all other parts of the truck still bead great. I know its not a big issue as I can just clay, reapply paint prep cleaner and redo the coating and stay the heck away from Bug-B-Gone.
