Well first and foremost apologies on the late review. I have been super busy with my business and other things. I finally had a chance to use the products the other day!
vehicle 2014 Acura MDX brand new 100 miles on the dash, the dealer really did a number on this car! Scratches adhesive residue water spots you name it it was there. Main problem area was the roof and rails. The vehicle failed the baggy test so clay was needed.

First things first I had to clay bar the vehicle after failing the baggy test. Completed that moved on to the problem area, the roof. Did a test spot and ended up with a combo of blue pad and uc to do the job. Completed the polish and moved on to the fun part prepping the vehicle for the new DP coatings! I got my finishing pad out with the DP prep polish followed the directions on the bottle. The polish covered the paint effortlessly and was an easy on and off process. Made sure to use as many micro fiber towels as necessary to make sure the product was completely off the paint. Next I prepped my foam applicator with DPs paint coating followed directions on the bottle. Here's my experience with it. I had my halogen work lights on and started with the hood. I sprayed the coating directly on the paint due to directions and worked the product into the paint. My first issue was trying to see the product as this was a pearl white car and was very hard to see even in proper lighting. I evenly spread the product across the hood sections at a time, following up with the microfiber towel to level out any high spots. I had noticed some times the product seemed sticky were the product was directly sprayed onto the paint and needed to be immediately spread out to solve big high spots. Once I got the hang of it, it was easy to apply and was smooth sailing. The entire hood only took a few sprays as this product you want to apply light and a little product goes a long long way. The same with the doors and other large panels taking only a few sprays of product. I had the complete exterior coated in a short time. The results were amazing! The paint looked like liquid glass the gloss that it produced was incredible, and very noticeable even on brand new paint. This factory paint has a ton of orange peel and I swear it looked to reduce some of the peel. The paint felt like touching a pain of glass it truly was extremely slick! The water test was awesome, this coating is hydrophobic. It shed water very quickly and beaded any left over to the molecule! I was very impressed satisfied, and pleased with the results. The same went with the wheel and glass coating, very easy to apply and incredible results! These DP coatings took the once difficult task of coating and made it easy and enjoyable. Thank you Auto Geek for the opportunity to try these amazing products from DP, definitely a future DP customer! Here are some pics of the results!View attachment 21418View attachment 21419View attachment 21420View attachment 21421View attachment 21422View attachment 21423View attachment 21424
