First things first I had to clay bar the vehicle after failing the baggy test. Completed that moved on to the problem area, the roof. Did a test spot and ended up with a combo of blue pad and uc to do the job. Completed the polish and moved on to the fun part prepping the vehicle for the new DP coatings! I got my finishing pad out with the DP prep polish followed the directions on the bottle. The polish covered the paint effortlessly and was an easy on and off process. Made sure to use as many micro fiber towels as necessary to make sure the product was completely off the paint. Next I prepped my foam applicator with DPs paint coating followed directions on the bottle. Here's my experience with it. I had my halogen work lights on and started with the hood. I sprayed the coating directly on the paint due to directions and worked the product into the paint. My first issue was trying to see the product as this was a pearl white car and was very hard to see even in proper lighting. I evenly spread the product across the hood sections at a time, following up with the microfiber towel to level out any high spots. I had noticed some times the product seemed sticky were the product was directly sprayed onto the paint and needed to be immediately spread out to solve big high spots. Once I got the hang of it, it was easy to apply and was smooth sailing. The entire hood only took a few sprays as this product you want to apply light and a little product goes a long long way. The same with the doors and other large panels taking only a few sprays of product. I had the complete exterior coated in a short time. The results were amazing! The paint looked like liquid glass the gloss that it produced was incredible, and very noticeable even on brand new paint. This factory paint has a ton of orange peel and I swear it looked to reduce some of the peel. The paint felt like touching a pain of glass it truly was extremely slick! The water test was awesome, this coating is hydrophobic. It shed water very quickly and beaded any left over to the molecule! I was very impressed satisfied, and pleased with the results. The same went with the wheel and glass coating, very easy to apply and incredible results! These DP coatings took the once difficult task of coating and made it easy and enjoyable. Thank you Auto Geek for the opportunity to try these amazing products from DP, definitely a future DP customer! Nice review and nicer looking car!! The DP prep polish is one hell of a product. Whether you are coating or just want to throw a fresh coat of wax on, that stuff works better than anything I have used to prep the surface.

The paint coating is excellent. Easy to use, looks great, and takes less time to coat a car than wax it.

There's been some pretty good products coming out of PBMG. Just got some DP MF cleaner and i've been meaning to try other DP products.

Nice write up! Next time try to embed your pics in the thread, makes things much cleaner and organized. I noticed less ppl respond/read threads with thumbnail pics :/

I use my iPhone5 for every thing, it's really easy to upload pics, is there a way to imbed pics from the phone that you know of? Or can you only do that from the computer? Also the layout seems neat on my phone, in also using aog app maby it's different then the online version?

Well, you can upload them to your photo album on here, then go to a pic, copy the image URL and then plug it in to the picture upload thing and wallah your picture is imbedded. Horrible explanation I kno, not even sure you can do it on your phone.

Also had a chance to use the DP max wax, And road kill, Compliments of AOG!. Max wax is a very very nice wax It went on very smooth and slick. It glides over the paint luxuriously and is a pleasure to apply. A small amount of product goes a long way, seems the new trend in today's products especially DP! You don't have to wait for the product to dry and buffs off easily. The deep gloss and shine max wax gives is very nice, the smell if the product is a big bonus. It smells really good, another nice feature to max wax. I had also used the DP road kill bug and tar remover, this is also a very nice product. Just spray on let it sit for about 30seconds and wipe. It did well with minor and heavy road grime. Some of the heavier stuff has to be hit twice, but I would rather a safe product that gently works the paint. The smell of the product isn't bad either, and I have used it on all paint chrome metal and plastic surfaces with no problem. I absolutely recommend both of these products highly!
