I just recieved my poli coat sample yesterday and convieniently I had a wash, wax, and interior job to do. I decided to use the DP for fun and to try it out.

Applying it was a different consistency than other sealants I have. It had a consistency like whipped yogurt or something like that. It was light and fluffy if you know what I mean, It wasnt a liquid so I kept my aplicator damp with a QD and that helped a bit.

Pro:
Left a very wet look (Looked great on the red Jeep)
Pretty darn slick
Easy to remove

Cons:
Not as easy to apply

Verdict:
For the price you cant beat it. I think it is absolutely worth the $15 price tag. I have used WGDGPS and BFWD. BFWD is my favorite and WGDGPS a close second and DP behind that. If you have the money go for the WG or BF but if money is tight absolutely consider the DP, you wont be dissipointed.

I really like it as well. I found it quite easy to apply with the PC. Maybe there was something up with the sample as I was using out of the primary bottle.

I found it very easy to apply both by hand and machine. I wouldn't put it in 3rd place behind anything.

Sounds like the sample needed further shaking prior to making a sample, it is indeed rather easy to apply. I personally dont like to add anything to applicator as some products (sealants) can be finicky with water and other agents.

This is an AOI product isn't it? Has anyone tested its correcting abilities? or is it just chemical cleaners and cut is pad dependent?

It has no cut and no cleaning ability. The only cleaners it has is the bonding agent - it will clean enough to bond, but it won't actually clean paint or remove light oxidation like an AIO will.

Thanks... I was confused by the label saying polish and sealent

So do you think I needed to shake mine up a bit more for it to apply easier? I found the consistency and the difficulty of application odd because I am a huge fan of DP products

Nice review....I like the stuff, after 3 weeks, its still slick on the wife's car....

Yes shake it up more and it should go on super easy.

I too am a huge fan of DP products and feel they get the short end because they are not big money and can't be bragged about as much.

How well does this play with Glazes and Filler products like PB Black hole?

DP line is never discussed as much as it should be in my opinion. There are a lot of great products in that line that I absolutely love, give them a try and now with the samples you have no excuses! :p

If you want people to discuss the DP line more, you have to charge more for it.:p
It's stupid, but most people equate "expensive" to "better". It's not necessarily true, but that's the perception.

Seriously, though, don't raise the prices. I like them right where they are.:xyxthumbs:

I feel poor boy's products don't get much press either... I guess it is the plague of being a realist when it comes to prices...

I will definitely be throwing 20$ of samples into a lot of my orders. Any chance we can get more options in the samples category
