Anyone have anything on this one. How does the DP apply and come off compared to Klasse? I have a full 33oz bottle of Klasse that i won't use because it takes a grinder to come off, no matter which way i put it on. I'm looking for a good, easy, long lasting Paint Sealant.

Look no further then UPGP
UPGP = Ultima Paint Guard Plus
Ultima Paint Guard Plus 4oz., paint sealant, liquid wax, car wax, paint sealer
UPGP is a very high quality high concentrated sealant from the makers of Four Star. I would highly suggest you check it out. Really a great deal when you take into acount how little it takes to protect a car. (about 1/4 oz) Keeps beading for an extrordinary amount of time. Wipe on Walk away! Do not apply too thick. 1 spritz lasts about 3 SQ FT. Apply to applicator and spread very thin coat on paint. Then just walk away.

what do u mean do not apply directly to paint, spray the applicator? ultima is a fourstar product?i didn't know

Yes, thats correct

ultima is a fourstar product?

Yes, Ultima is the newer of the 2 lines.

From the manufacturer....
Ultima Paint Guard Plus, containing Polycharger Wax Booster technology, is the longest lasting, clearest and easiest paint protection you can apply to your car. This product takes about ten minutes to apply to a clean, dry vehicle. Simply wipe on and walk away. No buffing required....

I have not really heard much about the ultima line (new to serious detailing). Is this similar to Jeffs Wekstat Arcylic Jett Trigger (AJT)? Speaking of which my s2000 board raves about the Jeffs products but I have not heard of anything here about them?

The DP goes on and comes off like a dream.

I've had Poli-Coat on my wife's DD for the last four weeks. It sits outside 24/7. I've washed it every week (three times so far and tomorrow will be the fourth) and the beading looks the same as when I just applied it. Most waxes/sealants I've used (except for Zaino) lose most of their beading after two washes, but Poli-Coat's beading has remained the same even after three washes. To me, that makes it very durable. It hasn't been long enough for me to determine whether it's more durable then Klasse SG, but I can definitely tell you it's way easier to apply and remove. I would definitely pick it over SG. Just my opinion.

Selln,
I love my Klasse SG. Once you get the application and removal down it is bullet proof. I preffer to put on a supper thin coat and let it sit for 4-8 hrs and then buff it off. I find it comes off better then longer it sits. When I find a spot that doesn't buff off easily I mist with some QD and that solves the problem. I havent had a problem yet. But I like the SG some much I put 3 caots on my DD this spring.

Or I would refer to Killers way of application.
I do however have a fool prove way to install SG by Klasse:

Transfer 1 ounce to a small travel size spray bottle.
Spritz each panel once or twice and immediately buff in.
Flip towel and immediately buff off. Allow 8-24 hours to cure.
If a stubborn spot comes into play, spritz spot and immediately buff till gone.

Works like a charm, and its a bulletproof combo. Add any detail sprays or waxes as toppers when wanted or even a second coat , just allow time for first coat to cure.

Klasse will indeed last longer, still about the most durable product I have used but finicky to use. DP is just plain easy ... almost Souveran easy !

I use the spray bottle & WOWO method with KSG. It's super easy to use..Can't get any easier I don't believe.

Also, I haven't noticed any durability problems using this method either.

Can Ultima be used on glass?

the last I used was Power lock. Went on and removed very easy and looks great.

Can Ultima be used on glass?

Absolutely! Works on glass as well. (Even recommended for glass by Ultima) I don't have any beading pictures handy but I'll take some for you in about a week (next time I wash Sky) if I can remember

I agree! I detailed my 2010 Tundra Crewmax and my wife's 2007 Odyssey one weekend. I used Meguiars NXT 2.0 on the van and DP-Poli on my truck, per Matt's recommendation here at Autogeek...needless to say, I washed both vehicles last weekend and the DP beaded up waaaayyyy more than the NXT! So far I'm sold on it..BTW both vehicle outside 24/7
