DP Rinseless Wash and Gloss.

This is something I always keep. I don't do many Rinseless washes, but this is my quick detailer, and clay lube of choice. It does work great as a rinseless wash though. I have given a few customers it to try out and they all love it.

I also really like the waterless, which I tend to find myself reaching for more when it comes to needed a qd.

The mixture of DPRWG and water (1 oz to 2 gallons) doesn't feel slick when I'm using it with the LC blue sponge. Or at least not as slick as I'm used to when using a normal auto shampoo. Is that normal or am I doing something wrong?

Are you talking about when you glide it onto the panel to clean it or after you dry it off?

When I glide it onto the panel to clean it. I'm thinking about hitting it with a quick rinse first since its summer. In the winter I may follow other's suggestions to mix a qd ratio in a garden sprayer and wet it down first.

Drying is no problem, I blot with a big MF and finish with multiple small ones.

Hi Bobby... so really? This stuff is that much better than ONR? I know you were one of those folks who hooked me onto 845... so maybe I need to try this out. I've been an avid ONR user, capfuls in bucket wash, plus clay lube. I think the slickness is what would "pull" me so to speak. Is DP that much slicker than ONR?

From tests I've personally performed I'd say yes.

I feel DP Rinseless Wash and Gloss is just an overall better performer and the finished results appear to be shiner and more glossy than Optimum No Rinse. I'm not implying that Optimum No Rinse isn't a good product because it is however my personal testing and subsequent results show DP Rinseless Wash and Gloss to be the better of the two..

By the way; nice avatar and signature photo!! :props:

I LOVE the DPRWG its a great product and im so glad I got it on BOGO. The qd is produces is great and Ive found it easiest to use with a microfiber than useing it with a wash mitt. The microfiber does a better job in my opinion.

Bobby, did you compare DP RWG versus latest version of ONR ?

No I haven't.

I have nearly a full gallon of the first generation Optimum No Rinse. I'm not implying Optimum No Rinse doesn't work, it clearly does, but I've found the DP Rinseless Wash & Gloss works a bit better in my testing...

To add additional confusion Autogeek discontinued the original like of DP products and launched their new line; Detailer’s Pro Series. The formulations of this re-branded line were to have changed for improved performance. This means that the original DP Rinseless Wash & Gloss is now Detailer’s Pro Series Rinseless Wash & Gloss.

I've got plenty of each to use up before I buy more....

Yes, the DPRWG is good. I washed two of our cars with it this week (wife's first since it was the first time I had used the product ;-) It's very slick, I never felt I was dragging the towel across the car, just sliding. And it smells nice.

This thread reminds me... I need to post a thread of how I use ONR, some tips and tricks... to help minimize marring, fast, easy, safe...

Yes I've seen that. Talked to Chris numerous times. For me, I only use ONR when my car is DUSTY, from driving in clear weather, with no puddles, etc driven through. In other words, dirt is purely superficial/topical, and not caked on. If caked, a foam gun, dwell, and 3 bucket wash is what I do.

But anyways... yeah, I have to share what I do... esp with windows/glass, then rims, etc.

This is the second winter, I have used DP. I use it in the garage. Do any of you add it to your wash buckets, when you use something else?

I have yet to use DP Rinseless Wash and Gloss but I always add a capful of ONR to my regular washes so I assume you can do the same with DP W&G :)

I just used this stuff a couple weeks ago on an 2011 Ford Expedition. I found it was nicer to use than ONR, didn't streak as much while drying (which was good on the Expedition, that thing was huge) and smelled way better. I used it again a week later on my DD and it took off some heavy grime with no issues. Good stuff, my new go to rinseless product.

i really enjoy DPs fragrance. i now use it on my paint, windows, interior, and wheels. i save the leftover used bucket for next session's wheels. that way i can start with the wheels when i wash.

Currently, Just using the latest version of ONR all the way never try DP.
Have read some review that DP rinseless wash & Gloss better than ONR and vice versa.
for all that have used the latest version of both, really want to know which is the winner in slick, clean, and shine better.

Add it with dp's extreme foam everyday. It's so sweet!

Here's what I posted on another thread:

I've used the latest formulations of both, and honestly, the difference between them is really so slight that the best option would be to just get whichever one is cheaper at the time. The DP seems to leave the surface just a little slicker than ONR, and maybe a little bit glossier, but on the flip side, ONR felt a little more lubricious, streaks a bit less (based on the windows), and it may encapsulate and hold dirt just a bit better, based on how it's a little more difficult to rinse my mitts clean after washing.

Good thread, guys!

After reading all of the people singing praises of a rinseless wash, I was all set to buy the latest ONR and give it a go.

Lo and behold, it turns out the same DP product I use for my clay lube, can also be used as rinseless, AND has gotten great reviews- especially in this thread!

That being said, I do have a question. Should I "wash" with a soaked Cobra MF, or use my Cobra Bone sponge?

Thanks everyone!
