so tonight i washed my car and my moms truck, decided my car was looking sub par.
washed both with poorboys SSS for the first time, i loved this soap. i knew i would, but first im ognna have to finish off a jug of meguiars and a bottle of duragloss, the poorboys was much better than those 2 in my opinion.
dryed the truck with my guzzler and moved it out of my way! then i grabbed my wolfgang clay and lube.for some reason the color was coming off on my hands?ive kept it stored in the original box and i keep a few sprays of the lube in there too? and ways sprayed the lube on my wet car and clayed the front end and the hatch, not enough time for the whole thing.
polished with xmt1 and white pad to remove any clay marring on the front. i also soaked the whole thing in an alcohol water mix to strip all the old wax.
applied the new dp sealant on a microfiber applicator, this stuff looked great! i love the smell and when i was done the slickness was just as good if not better than liquid souveran. i let it sit on the paint for a long time cause i walked away...
i came back out to the garage and applied some dp wheel glaze to all 4 wheels, buffed the paint and then buffed the wheels and applied some wolfgang tire gel. the tires looked so shiny, so wet, its incredible. ive used it before but i guess i put it on thinner last time cause i dont remember it looking this amazing!

sorry for the lighting, best i could do

Looks cool man. E36 FTW!! bf.c reference
What other sealants have you used, particularly Wolfgang? Comparo?

ive used ex-p on this car and thought it looked great but i think the dp sealant is nudging it out of the way, the slickness was wonderful...
i used wolfgang deep gloss on my neighbors vehicle but i cant compare much, i was rushing because at the same time i was replacing my valve cover gasket. i do remember liking it quite a bit but cant give a comparison to this sealant

and a bit O/T but yea i saw you on bfc, you need to get yourself a bimmer! this is a 95 318ti with sport package and a bit of suspension work and wheels, and a stromung exhaust is being built if the group buy goes through! also chipped...its a fun car, nearly got me arrested the other day!

LOL! yeah I am in the market for a new/used car soon. Right now my top choice is a used 330Ci. I lust for that car... too bad I can't find a ZHP in my price range. Toto joined bfc too... I see him the show and shine section. LOL

I love WG tire dressing last 10+ days easy (depending on weather).

I also really like Wolfgang Black Diamond Tire Gel. I don't like my tires supper shinney and I put it on very thin and rub it in. It leaves a very nice semigloss look just the way I like it and don't fling off. I also like the DP wheel glaze but they should make it so it comes off easier.

Get an insurance quote. I can afford a nice 05 Mercedes C230, but the insurance is just too much. The same with a Mustang Mach 1, Mazada 6SPEED, 350z, G35..

Believe it or not, I will end up with a 03/04 Lexus ES300 or Dodge Neon SRT-4 with stage 3 Mopar. They are both similar in insurance rates.

I still can't believe a Lexus is as much as a Neon.

I'm 19 BTW. Perfect record.

Yeah, I will definitely get some quotes before going any further. I just want a car that makes me enjoy driving (I can't drive stick). Sorry for hijacking your thread man, we'll stop.

if your talking bimmers, i dont mind! hey, learn to drive stick, trust me....its makes it so much better, you will love driving it. youll never catch me owning an automatic, SMG maybe but thats it

Well... traffic can get pretty bad here. I also don't have a car to really practice on. Some people are just destined to drive autos/SMGs.

Me as well. I drive a lot on busy streets and interstates. There's not much room for me practice.

I'd like to pick up one of the cars with the "flick" shifters on the steering wheel though.

DEFINITELY would want an SMG that worked well. I love F1 and paddles are awesome. But I think SMGII on the e46 non-m cars aren't that great. DSG from audi on the other hand... ;)

any smg on non m cars blowsssssss, never buy that crap. if you want a fun car thats sort of an auto, but really a manual, go look at a mk5 gti with paddles and DSG. my friend has one and im not even joking its one of the most fun cars ive ever driven.

mk5 is the newest generation name of the volkswagens. the GTI is well...the gti...for a while they had the "fast" commercials on tv where the little black demon-rabbit thing would make the driver go fast

DP surface shield is wonderful. Super-slippery, and super-easy to use.
DP wheels glaze is the ultimate sealant for wheels. Lasts around a month, when wheels are washed with just soap and water. Wolfgang Black Diamond tire gel is one of the best tire dressings I have ever used.
Check it out.

day 2 thoughts: feels even slicker today than it did last night but unfortunately it rained so i htink im oging ot have to reapply, which i planned on anyways. water beading was awesome andoverall my car just seemed to have a cleaner look to the paint than before, very crisp looking, i love it. glad i bought a gallon of this stuff! i forgot to say that applying with a microfiber applicator is not the best way...i usually use a foamy but i tried the MF and it was not as easy to apply that way.after driving around through the rain, getting slideways anddrifting a bit on lunch break, i parked and noticed the tires are just as wet and glossy as when i applied the black diamond gel! gonna pick up a refill jug of this stuff i think
