Just received my order today and to my surprise AG included a free bottle of DP Spray Surface Shield Paint Sealant.First I want to say thank you for the free bottle, you guys sure know how to keep happy customers:awesome:

Now my next question, I detailed my Jeep last week with XMT2 & 1 then I used WG Finishing glaze. Then original plan was to use the DP Premium Surface Shield Paint Sealant, then go over that with Pinnacle Liquid Sovueran. However, looking at the weather forecast and the wife being out of town with the other vehicle, I skipped the sealant part and just applied the Liquid Souveran. Do I need to strip my Jeep to use the DP Spray Surface Shield Paint Sealant or will it be ok to go ahead and apply this over the Liquid Souveran?

LUCKY!!!

I have been dying to try this, have heard it's Fantastic! Give us a review sometime.

i got one too! =) ill do a full review as soon as i can, unfortunalty today its raining =( and then im going away for the weekend ='(

Man, I can't wait 'till winter starts. I love rain! Tired of living in desert.

Liquid Souveran has some carnauba qualities, as such the DP Shield will not adhere properly and durability will suffer. I would suggest removing it with an alcohol/water wipedown.

So then if I do an alcohol wipedown, I can apply the DP sealant, then after it cures I can apply some liquid souveran? Just trying to get it straight so I don't have to do any unnecessary work..

Hi,
After the wipedown apply the DP let it cure 12-24 hours ( I think that is what most sealants recommend) Then you should be able to do a Souveran topper..

Ok thanks, I thought that would be the procedure but wanted to be sure.

DP cures in 12 hours. Wipe the paint down with 50/50 water and isopropyl alcohol. Apply the sealant and let cure. You'll probably want to go with 2 coats to ensure even coverage and then top with your Souveran. After that ll you have to do is stand back and enjoy the shine. :)
