DP Tire Coating vs Tuf Shine Tire Clearcoat

Thanks for the update. Looks like another great product in the DP line.

I've had trouble with tuff shine coating sticking to my wife's new tires. I read up on them and found that some tire companies (hankook, Yokohama, and bridgestone, maybe others) have started to use an orange oil extract to alter the grip of the tires. I believe this may be interfering with certain types of tire dressings and coatings.

Great review! As was mentioned in the final set of pics,You couldn't tell any difference in some of the pics. Only when closer could I tell any difference.

I would give the edge to the TS as well, but not by much. DP is no slouch though.

I too am amazed at how dressings react to different tires, and different vehicles. The tires on my beater HHR always clean and "shine up" really nice no matter what product. It has been that way with all three sets of tires I've put on it. The tires get dirtier than on my other vehicles that don't get driven as much, but I deep clean them just like I do on the HHR.

Thanks...I agree, DP is no slouch.

DP is a good tire coating, I would be satisfied using either DP or TS.

Interesting, looks like a lot of variables in regards to performance of tire dressings and coatings.
