Apply Gel to the brush like toothpaste, dab on the tire in a few places (or spray the diluted Gel) and spread, spread, spread!

Well I know what that would be but what I'm asking is a good amount for the 1:1 if you have a 32 oz bottle of product. Would you personally dilute it all by using a half gallon container?

It doesn't matter, mix up whatever you're comfortable with mixing at 1:1. If you already like it straight and just wanna try it once at 1:1 just mix a couple ounces up? If you want all of it 1:1, mix it all up in a half gallon.

Haha, nope. I'm saying in your own personal preference, would you dilute a whole bottle of product? Say if you have 16 oz of something, would you dilute half of it at a time and get 16 oz or go ahead and dilute the whole thing and get 32 oz?

I only do a couple ounces at a time, mixing into a little travel size bottle (I don't do "high volume work" so a little bottle lasts a while). :dblthumb2:

Great post Dee..I need to try this method as well as using the nail brush to spread it. Great tips.
 
Quick update, the tire still looks the same although the car hasn't moved :)

Really though I just now applied the 1:1 on Mrs Ds DD. They are calling for rain tomorrow and it will be in it almost all day. I wouldn't expect any water based tire gel to last very long but we will see.
