First time user of Color Chip and Klasse. I plan on trying Dr Color Chip today. How long should I wait before applying (know temperature should have some bearing) Klasse All-In-One? Is there any benefit to layering the All-In-One?

After All-In-One is applied how long should I wait before using Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze? I believe HGSG can be layered. Is this correct?

Always been a Zaino user, but got tired of the long hazing process.

Thanks.

Dave

I would wait at least a couple hours but someone else might be more specific. You can put KHGSG after Klasse AIO but you can't layer after that since its a sealant

wait 7 days as per the website

no benefit to layering KAIO (it is a chemical paint cleaner)

you can put the KSG on right after KAIO and layer it after 8-12hrs of curing

Hopefully, it is not hot where you are b/c I find KSG comes off better in cooler weather. Do a small test area so you can get a feel for what it takes to put it on (thin!) and take it off.

My buddy used it the other day and said he had to rub so hard to take it off the sheet metal on his hood was flexing...

Then he sent me a link to a better method he found that made application a breeze. Essentially, you put the ksg in a spray bottle, spritz an applicator pad, scrunch it a few times to prime it fully, then work an area about the size of a trunk lid at a time. Once the entire car is done, wait about 20 minutes, then go back the the first panel you did and use a MF dampened with QD to remove the haze, followed by a dry MF. Then move on to the next panel. Once the dry MF becomes damp, use it as your new damp MF, and get another fresh dry MF...

again, I haven't tried this yet. If the WOWO method doesn't work, try this on a test panel and see if it's any better...

I can't help with Dr. Color chip but as for Klasse, only one application of KAIO is needed and you can apply the sealant glaze immediately with the proper cure times between each application of the glaze. I applied Klasse in 95+ degree weather in south Georgia humidity this summer and when applied thin as wipe on wipe off, it was a breeze to remove. I would recommend at least 3 coats of the glaze. The shine is indeed better after 3 applications.
