I was reading a road and track magazine in the dentist office today and saw this add for Dr Color Chip.

I was intrigued so I looked it up when I got home. Sounds pretty neat. I like the fact that it takes care of love bug etching. Anyone ever tried this? seen this? Heard of this?

I don't have before and after pictures but I used it with good results on my honda Pilot. You can still feel the defects and see them if you look closely, but you wouldn't notice them if you didn't know where they were.

I also liked the paint that came with the kit. The color was actually better than the honda touch up paint I used on several of the nicks.

I have a black wrangler with a number of touch up places, and you can see the touch up just plain as day. This stuff looks like it will hide most of it.

I think Ill order a kit for my own vehicle and do a write up.

Thanks Jenn. :props::props:

That stuff seems very interesting! I might have to pick up a kit for my wife's car.

I have some chips I would like to fix how easy or difficult is the Drcolorchip to apply and make it look good?

Thanks

would this system work over previous touch-up applications? like say on my hood, back bumper?

I am sure it will work over touch up applications even though I haven't tried. It was QUITE easy. The only key is to not rub too hard with the solvent. Let it do the work instead.

It was well worth the price.
