New guy here....Quick question about the application of Dr Colorchip on a rock chip...

Anyone use this one a rock chip that is on a panel edge? Over the weekend, I took a stone to the hood that is right on the front edge above the driver's headlight...It's small, but it's all the way to the metal....I'm thinking this would be a pretty tough area to try and cover up and make look good....All of the videos I have seen about it were people laying it out on a flat surface and not curved or sharp edges...

Thanks in advance...

It will work on the edge same as works on flat panel.

If it is right down to metal you might want to primer first and right away.

To apply primer spray a bit into the cap of the aresol and apply with fine brush (you only need a very small amount).

Wait 10 minutes and put on first coat of Dr. ColorChip.

I like to let my layers dry for 24 hours between but you can do it as per Dr. ColorChip instructions.

After paint is above surface very carefully wet sand to level but be careful as the surrounding edge is very thin clear.

If you use the Dr. ColorChip method it might be safer in this case.

Hand polish out the sanding marks.
