Dream Detail - Porsche Cayman S: Gtechniq C1 + EXO

Hi everyone, here are a few pictures from a Cayman S I am finishing up tomorrow. Not the best selection but there will be a video to accompany them tomorrow evening.

Lots of iron, it eventually pooled up in the letters (shown in the video)

the speedy surface prep towel is awesome!!

Final rinse, it was getting pretty cold out

clear film removal with heat gun

most of the film had yellowed pretty bad

after correction, before finishing

view outside after correction stage, still needs finishing

decent reflection from silver

C4 used on trim. I1 used on carpet

Fully restored

C1 was applied today, EXO application tomorrow

Awesome JOB! I really like how the C4 looks on the plastic, looks like that will be going into my cart next. Cannot wait to see the EXO!

Thank you! Early thoughts are great, this car came in right at the estimated 25 hours. Without the Rupes it would have been closer to 30 hours. The Rupes paired with MF pads is amazing! quick cut and finish, I almost didn't need to go through with a finishing stage. This is Porsche paint so it was soft to begin with. The hydro-tech pads didn't do so well with the Rupes. There was a lot more vibration than I would have liked but still gave a desired finish. I will probably wait to post a review until I get the rest of the Rupes pads and polishes (and the 15e as well) which I still don't have an ETA on. I have the rest of the Rupes pads (just need yellow and white for the 21e, which are the most important lol). With the Rupes polishing liquids, I am also getting a 6mm orbit Skorpio sander. I have been in contact with two people about getting them but still nothing so far. :bat:
