Hey All, while I'm waiting to hear back from the owner I decided to post these. Depending on the response, this may be an all nighter.

Just some fun with the long exposure:

More to come!! :xyxthumbs:

Trashed is an understatement! SOS pads on a carwash?
Neat effect of the long exposure.
What does the rest of the vehicle look like?

SOS pads and a grinder!

I'll have more pics tomorrow and a video tomorrow or monday :xyxthumbs:

Talk that owner into a wash care package so it doesn't look that bad in 6 months!

Poor car........on the verge of abuse, one call to the detail police!

It never fails to amaze me when people by brand new black vehicles and then go home and "hand wash" them with whatever rag they can get their hands on.

Nice work. Lets see more.

All nighter, no doubt. Nice work so far. :xyxthumbs:

Wow. You know how they have Child Protective Services. We should create a Car Protection Service to report abuse. That car was really abused.

:autowash: :buffing:

Poor mustang. My lord is that a ton of defects for a relatively new car.

Looks like you're performing a (paint) life-saving transplant.

My goodness!!! I'm speechless at the moment!! :nomore:

Looks to be a dang good save!!!

What products are you using to bring this one back to life.

That would be a great business model!

From what the owner told me, it sounds like this was done by those mobile detailers that go by office buildings to make a quick buck with their fancy grinder.. er... i mean rotary buffers.
Typical Drive-By detailers

 I was thinking the same thing! The poor car was destroyed in a detailer Drive-By and now I have to save its life. :dblthumb2:

Buffers: RUPES LHR21, LHR75, and the Flex 3401 for a few spots.

Step 1: MF Pads with D300

Step 2: RUPES yellow pads with Menz SF4000
LC Hybrid white with SF4000 on the Flex.

It wound up that I could get some sleep last night, I got an extra day from the owner, I'll have it until the end of the day tomorrow.
LSP's will be Gtechniq C1 & EXO, along with C4 & C5 for trim & wheels. G5 for the windshield.
CarPro Fabric & Leather will be used after the interior is cleaned.

Now back to :buffing:

Looks like it was detailed with a brick and a hershey bar  This should be against the law.
Good luck!

Did you find the Clear Coat to be hard?
I just started correcting a 2012 F150 and that stuff is hard!

Those are the kind of "show and shine" jobs that I like to see...really trashed!

Ah-ha! The almighty german machine lingers on!
(as everybody knows, Italy was the weak part of The Axis...)

:joking:

Nice job! :dblthumb2:

Yes, we are working with a ceramic clear coat, stuff is HARD. However, I believe that parts of this car have been buffed so much before that the ceramic part is no longer in tact. Certain panels and parts are harder than others. I've been using both D300 and FG400 to compound.

Looking forward to more after pics of this one.

It has been a long day, more stuff should hopefully be coming by tomorrow evening unless I need to keep the car through Christmas >.<

 I have always enjoyed using the flex, despite what many people say about it, it is a great tool. I doubt I will ever get rid of it. However, the only reason I am using it here is because my LHR15 hasn't come in yet. :props:
