Dressing/coating fabric wheel well liners

My issue is the liners are more gray instead of jet black....I don't like it...I have to spend 15 minutes a wheel well to clean...spending an hour 2 times a week is getting old.
maybe I need to move......LOL
 
The material in my wife's Rav4 rear wells is really textured. I'm sure the use is for sound dampening, but it's hard to clean it up completely. The texture is large enough that it like to collect road debris. If I can get it clean enough, I plan to try Perl 1:1 in a spray bottle. It will be great if it lessens this collecting debris problem.
