Drew's Detailing Full Exterior + 2 Step Correction featuring V32 M101 and M105

I hear you. IMO a better comparison would be V32 vs Ultimate Compound. I just dont see V32 in the ranks when you break it down cut for cut & finishing ability to M101.

As far as scent, I can care less about polish scent. I want it to remove defects, just because it smells great doesnt mean squat. Menzerna is the perfect example, smells like a chemical cocktain, but puts in work.

What the hell is Nu Finish?
Nu Finish?
But V32 Smells GREAT!!!!!!:awesome:

Nu finish is a junk OTC product that that psynx kid loves
Why do you say that though? Why can't v32 hang with 101? Just cuz it's not Meg's? I didn't expect anything of v32 I figured it would collect dust but i was thoroughly impressed
Smell isn't a buying factor but it's a nice bonus, just like with waxes, why not improve the user experience if possible

Sonic, I don't care what anybody says. Your review are great and so are your pictures no matter what time of the day. Don't change a thing you do. I look forward to your reviews and yes I realize it does take a long time to put together those quality reviews. Even to do a so-so not so great review takes time and effort so I can only imagine what your efforts are. My hat goes off to you and all you other people who spend the time and energy giving the rest of us the great information you have. I for one appreciates it.

Drew, it looks like you're doin' it up right, so please don't misinterpret this reply as an attack on your ability or character.

When I first clicked into this thread, I saw your before photos, saw your list, but didn't click into all of the other links. I completely missed the fact that those are where most of the review portion of your post were located as far as products go. I immediately thought the same thing that 'slow wrx' posted because I didn't see the large amount of information that was in the links.

From the point of being your audience, I can see where this could easily be a quick response if all of the links weren't hit. Also, as a photographer, I immediately noticed that the levels on the photos had been bumped quite a bit to the point of making me wonder what you were trying to convey. The Lightroom hard level push is becoming a bit like a 3rd rail to some photographers. I kept scrolling through the images looking for the tape line or the Phillips-esque 'after' shots and was left wondering. It was only after 'slow wrx' posted his response did I understand that you were too busy taking care of the customer service and pre-delivery side of things to get that done...been there too many times myself. I'm sure most of us here have.

One of the things that I learned making money from photographs early on was that editing viciously is the key to getting your best work on display and getting your point/feeling/idea across. It's tough with the limited space that you were dealing with in some of the shots, but it's up to the photographer to, like a good compound, cut cut cut until only the finest of the shine shows.

It appears that you don't need any help with the detailing stuff, but if I can help you with photo ideas/tricks/stuff, I'd be glad to do so.

Just pointing out the obvious.

You missed it.

As the owner of the car, I can say without reservation that I am very pleased with the result of Drew's hard work and expertise. Two days after these pics were taken, my car and I were participating in the National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade as members of the DC area affiliate club of the Mustang Club of America (our local is the National Capital Region Mustang Club). She looked good enough to hang with both the classic Ponies and the new rides. I also think the pics look great Drew :)

As a fellow photographer and former pro commercial photographer, I get what you're saying. I have also offered to help Drew out on the image-making side, especially post-processing. I like the pics, but as pure glam shots for the most part (but a few show off the great job he did). I also tweaked a couple to remove power-lines and crop in for a tighter composition. I can tell you that the work Drew did would be hard to do justice to without seeing it in person and especially before and after. I have some before shots HERE that might help with some context.

Edit: Also, to be fair, the very first thing Drew said in his OP was "not a lot of befores, some pictures are just for fun, and post detail mini shoot".

I appreciate the input, and completely understand where you are coming from. Yeah I'd appreciate all of the above, just PM me at your convenience :D
the bottom line is some people need to just lighten up lol, until I get paid to post on autogeek and other forums people who don't care for my work / I can simply stay out of my threads :buffing:
