Me too, Gary. I never speed on residential streets, but an open freeway it's petal to the metal for short distances. Effective July 1st, no hand held cell phones while driving. Blue tooth and ear buds are legal. I think it's a good law as too many drivers just don't pay attention to the road while talking on their cell. Worst yet, I see people texting while driving.
Is it legal to talk on a cell while driving in Florida?I would consider driving fast on a residential street as being rectless. I would hate to hit a little kid or anyone for that matter. People talking and texting on cell phone while driving drives me crazy. It a big hazard everywhere.

No but it needs to be.
