Droped my clay?

i would quote clint eastwood on the subject-[do you feel lucky punk]

LOL..do they not make it anymore? Oh yeah they do: Ultima Elastrofoam Paint Cleaning System, paint cleaner, paint cleaning foam There are also some generic versions around, or there used to be. Sometimes I forget that not everybody was at that other forum when DavidB hyped the heck out this after his green clay, he actually replaced all but the ultrafine green clay with the Elastrofoam.

It is still being made but not sold on AG. I have been using mine for quite some time. I think it does a great job. Some have commented that you don't have the same feel as when using clay. There is also another version called Hi Tech Magna Sponge. I have one of these too but have not needed to use it yet.

I dropped mine on Sunday my first time ever using clay. However I happened to get lucky, it was already balled up (small contact area) and the garage floor is very clean and made of epoxied pebbles. Was all ready to toss it but looking at it I couldn't see anything at all on it where it hit. So I took the chance and used it. I will probably toss it anyway now that I used it on my glass afterward. Actually I'll probably use it on my wheels first, then toss it.

If I thought the clay didn't pick up dirt or sand, I've cleaned it up and kneaded it a lot to bring up fresh surface before continuing to use. If I think there is risk, I use it for wheels. So far I've not seen any serious problems.

Whaddya tawkin' bout? I posted a link to it in the AG store, shows as available and I was able to add it to my cart.

I can see it and it doesn't show as an out of stock item so I would say; Add To Cart...

When it comes to clay, use the "Rule of Thumb":

Before starting, break off a piece of clay equal to the width of your thumb; that's really all you need to use at a time. That way the bar lasts longer and you always have some backup in case you drop the piece you're using.
