Dropped Wax:( Should I Go Ahead And Toss It?

I was doing just a little waxing on my sister's car and accidentally dropped it...into some dirt...along with the applicator. Should I just scrape the stuff off the top and keep using it or go ahead and get some different wax? It's just Meguiars Ultimate wax so it's not any high dollar wax.
 
I hate wasting anything so I would try to save it.
 
The wax you should able to save by removing the debris. The applicator however might be a different story. I'd clean it REALLY well before it touches paint again.
 
Like Riff, i hate wasting stuff too...no matter how much it cost. I would probably inspect it thoroughly and remove everything that got into it. If it was a "caked" piece, maybe cut off the top to reveal clean wax under.
 
I'd take an old credit card, and scrape off the top layer.
