Dry Me Crazy not drying!

So how do I remove all the previous product from the towel between washes?

You don't! :(

If you are using a drying aid, aquawax etc. Then do most of your drying with the drying towel, then switch to 360 or 530gsm towels for your final wipe/product application.

I use the MFT 530 for drying more than anything else, just for that reason.
And NO I absolutely DO NOT use them twice!
Washing a load of towels is cheap compared to re-buffing / polishing your paint OR buying new towels. ;)

if it's sit there for a period of time, consider permanent damage...
Get a new one :)

It doesn't sit there long at all. It gets washed right after I'm done washing the vehicle.

I boiled mine, it worked.

If the APC soak doesn't work, I'll be doing that! Have nothing to lose.

I'll switch to that method if I can't restore it. It's a nice time saver to apply a spray wax while drying.

I never use them twice. They always get washed and inspected between car washes.

Do your dedicated lsp towels get clogged up too, or is that something you wouldn't notice?

i have two DMCs.

i haven't had this issue. sorry you are - sounds like a hassle :(

my care protocol for product loaded towels (haven't had to do this for DMC): 1-2 oz MFR or 3D TK (depends on load size), scoop of Oxi-Clean, very warm water. let it fill up (gauge water level according to towel count) and agitate without towels until granules are dissolved - doesn't take long. then wash on extended cycle, let soak, dual rinses with higher-than-wash-cycle levels, dry in dryer until dry. done. nice and fluffy.

if towels are largely NOT loaded with product, i skip the Oxi-Clean and don't really soak.

i went from hang drying to dryer drying a while back and haven't looked back. i LOVE the way my Microfiber Madness towels end up after using the dryer. AWESOME!

i also have noticed a MASSIVE lint reduction by machine drying vs. hang drying. i mean, huge.

Are you using a drying aid though?

I care for my MF the same way you do, except for the oxyclean.

nah, not DMC. in fact i only blot or lightly drag with that towel. have yet to really wipe with it. but i'm saying the first protocol i have seems to work for higher pile towels like Crazy Pile that get stuffed with product, so i'd imagine it should work for ultra high GSM towels like DMC.

APC makes sense too, it's just that Oxi-Clean is cheap and i use it for washing other stuff in the washer too. main thing is to just make sure it's fully dissolved!

if they aren't loaded with crap, i skip the Oxi-Clean and don't have them soak nearly as long.
