Drying after Wash

Yes sucking water off car would make me nervous. I get nervous blowing it off with leaf blower, one wrong move and big scratch time.

I use my rechargable leaf blower to get around door handles, hood and doors. Then mf towel with Lucas spray wax :)Im the MAN
I do the same with my cordless Makita Blower.

I use an electric leaf blower a bought a couple years ago... It's inexpensive, works very well and I can see no downside to it.

Which one do you use?

I use a CG woolly mammoth and use their little blower to dry out all the little crevices. The mammoth can hold some water and It leaves my cars spot free and streak free.

When using a leaf blower to blow the car dry do you have concerns of hitting the car surface with the tip?

Our black and decker electric blower has the strength but it's not balanced to being held over a car hood. I'm always afraid of causing Damage with the tip. Does anyone apply a foam surround to the end of their blower nozzle?

this is what i am using. Works great. Can't do the roof though. I'm too short

Anybody got any tips or tricks on drying? I once used my leaf blower. I hate water spots.

Using a QD during or after the drying process will eliminate the water spot problem, after washing i use the sheeting method then follow up with a microfiber waffle weave drying towel sprayed with QD then a super soft microfiber to pick up anything missed.

i have been using mf drying towels. from sears automotive of all places! but they work.

What attachment do you use? Does the hose end touch the paint?

Bump this comment. Seems like it would take some time using this method.

Honestly, I use my Cobra waffle and will follow with a plush mf with a Quick wax spray. Its a DD and it wont look perfect so I dont pull my hair out if a couple swirls develop. It will make corrections more eye-popping and more excuses to spend time on the paint.

If it were a show car I would be using an electronic leaf blower or master blaster for sure. Obviously less contact / less risk.
