Drying Aids

IMO it depends on:
1- the product you're using as a drying aid, is it heavy/thick or light/thin? Thick ones, Sonax BSD for example, is better sprayed on towel..
2- the weather conditions.. Ambient temp., surface temp., humidity, shade/direct sunlight... etc.
 
I found this thread while researching drying technique.

For those who use a drying aid of some sort, I have a question regarding the MF towel you use. Do you use a normal waffle weave MF or one of the waffle weave MF drying towels which have the added foam core like the Cobra Guzzler HD? Does it really matter?

I have tried both and they both work really effectively. I make sure either towel is damp before drying
