How do you people dry your cars? I use a water blade, and then use microfiber towels. Is the guzzler good? SOOooooooo, what do you guys think?

The guzler is amazing, it can hold a ton of water, def. worth the money
as for the water blade i dont use one becasue if there is anything left on the paint (0and no matter how good you are somtimes there is) you drag it along the paint and can casue problems.

Yup Yup!

Blade ------>WW Guzzzler.. :awesome:

So you use the blade and then the guzzler?

Sorry, loose the blade and add a WW Guzzler.. I wasn't sure about it at first, but I really like them. I will order another soon.. Give it a quick wash before you use it..

I have freaking grooves on my roof of my SUV. FREAKING ANNOYING. Lots of water there. Takes 2 towels to dry the roof. Any ideas except a blower?

Have a Mountaineer and Explorer so I know of the grooves you speak of, my driveway is on a slight slant so luckily the water just rolls down the back, otherwise I get up with the blower and clear it out. I use a sealant on the roof and water just shoots off with the blower. Otherwise any good towel like the guzzler will do.

If anything, get in the truck and drive foward or reverse and hit teh brakes, water will come right off. Then just use the hose and go around the truck to let the water sheet off (except don't hit the roof again). Have a blade as well, used once or twice, will not use again.

Purchase the larger Guzzler. Trust me.. Wipe, wring, wipe, wring, wipe.......etc.

I had a shammy way back, and I hated wringing it. With the guzzler, if you wring it, does it pick up water from the car, or put more on it?

Not unless you wring it over the car.... ;)

In all honesty, its a super product. The price is worth it, you won't be dissapointed. It is damn near dry once you wring it once.. trust me bud, you WILL like it...

im confused... are you wring it, are you doing it over the car. I know when i used a chami, a while back, when i rung it out it worked liked new, ands sucked up more water. and im not sure about wring out the guzler, the ones i have seam to suck up all the water, then more.

So the largest guzzler it is then?

Wring it when its full of water... then re-use. JUST LIKE NEW! :)

And Yes Luke..

Wow, i love you guys. Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!! Is the guzzler micro fiber? I dont think it said

The guzler is a Walfe weave micro fiber cloth. It is very soft, the ww allows it to absorb lots more water, it is not as soft as say a polishing cloth but it will suck up alot more water. I promise you wont be disapointed

thank you so much for your time

I too plan on getting the large Guzzler.

And Luke, I'm sure you know this, but if you try searching for something you're trying to find the answer too, it may make things easier for you. A lot of these questions you've asked are very popular around here so just type in into the search function.

alright thank you. Ive tried that for a some things, and I never got the exact answer i wanted. That is why Ive been asking these kinds of questions. Many of my questions were answered though from using search, i will have to try it more, thank you

anytime, i love being on these online forums, im a member of a few, If i cant work on my car i want to talk about it.
I was once like you, young (i still am) and willing to learn wanting to be the best.
the one thing i learned that i will pass onto you is that people can tell you everything you need to know, they can give you a ton of knowlegde but until you try it you will never know. For example you could ask for peoples favorite wax or wash, each person will like somthing diffrent, you will get everysoap made listed. Some are good others arnt, but its all personal. So out some of the products tyou have heard about, see if tou like them. Buy them in small sizes at first, even if it is more coslty, becasue if you dont like it you will save money in the end.
a good example of this is souvern, TONs of people think its the cats neow, i myself dont think its worh the price, im more a of a victoria wax and zymol fan. does that make any of us wrong, no not at all, it just means we look for diffrent things or we precive it difrently thats life.

Enjoy the knowlege, keep asking questions, and learn. But remember you have to try it for yourslef to truly know
