Drying Towel

I use one of towels asked about in the OP, as well as the Big Blue. I use the Gyeon silk specfically for my ZL1, mainly becuse it has its own dedicated wash mitts ans well as microfibers. I works very well and has different nap heights side to side. It seems to behave differently and I use both sides depending on if I use Rinseless, or traditional.

The rest of the cars I use the Big Blue, and it works very well in all wash methods. I am glad I have both, they are both great towels.

What do you mean two towels are together? I do not see a seam in between. Are two towels 600 g/m2?

The seam is the border of the towel. Similar construction to the rag company everest towels. One of the other guys can confirm this. I gave them away after I reviewed them.

Is this what you're referring to?

If so I would've never guessed that.. It doesn't feel like 2 towels smushed to make 1, but what do I know.. What I do know is I'm lucky the cat's asleep otherwise she'd find out about this towel and want to make it her bed. Lol. [she's currently sleeping on her fake chinchilla]

Yeah that's what the description says, is its two towels sewn together... All in all these are just thick Korean MFs right? So if you get an Everest or PFM or the Big blue, you're essentially getting a 1100-1200g towel.. no?

A 1100 or 800 GSM towel is basically two 400+GSM towels sewn together - Respective of the the GSM counterpart

Yes. Try taking your fingers at the seem and pull the towel apart and see if you can tell there is a gap between the towel. I can do this with the rag company everest towel.

Lol you are not going to pull it apart trying that. The seam is not that weak.

Does the Griots PFM towel weave look like this?

Risky would be trying to get that towel from under the cat. Lol

Coincidentally, the chinchillas are 2 towels glued together, too. I just pulled at mine, and sure enough, the two sides pulled apart from one another. They must have something like iron-on adhesive between the two layers.

Which towel is that a pic of?

It's my new secret drying towel from North Korea.. I've been wondering if it's unique, or if it's actually a knockoff PFM.

Truth be told, I don't even know what a real chinchilla towel looks like, I just call that my chinchilla towel because it's unlike any other towel I have... It's super soft and silky, it's not normal microfiber but it's supposed to be safe on car paint, but I got @the 99 cent store and never had the guts to put it to the test and see if it scratches or not.

But my cat likes it.lol.
