Has anyone here tried either of these drying towels?
I’m wondering how they may compare to the PFM.

TGC the double twisters or the twist n’shout drying towels.

Thanks
Jim

I assume this is a typo and you meant TRC. If so, those towels are not anywhere as good as the PFM. The Liquid8r the best drying towel from TRC IMO

Thanks fly07sti you're right, typo. I will check the liquid8r.
Thought I might save a little money but I do like the PFM
(you get what you pay for).

your right about that.

You'll never forget buying a PFM and the price will soon be forgotten. At least it was for me.

Bill, I have four 16x16 towels so you are right
about the price. I just wondered if there is
anything to match the PFM..

If I find anything to match the PFM Im definitely going to be in.

Bill me to. Let me know if you ever do. :xyxthumbs:

I have a towel that drys better and holds more water but isn’t sold through AG. I actually ordered 15 more to have in stock to sell to new customers that want to maintain there rides after I’ve worked on them.

Would you say these drying towels are “luxurious”?

I got a inexpensive “Duplex” towel that is about 500gsm twisted loop. Was very suprised rhat these things would dry my car as well as a similar sized pfm due to being twice the weight.

To be fare those these PFM’s had been in rotation for 2 years and still doing well.

I have 1 large 3 mediums and 6 new sitting in the package from when AG had that crazy MF sale.

fly07sti and coatingiscrack thanks!

PFM is the standard all other towels aspire too.

I myself like the Water Sprite chamois or the Absorber. For me they wipe dry the best . They do need to be broken in.

Have you used the PFM drying towel or a comparable drying towel? Reason I ask is because I grew up using English Chamois, Water Sprite, ChamWow towels and none of them perform anywhere close to a PFM. This is my experience and yours may differ but if you have not tried one of these newer style towels, you’re missing out.

I found the Absorber to be among the worst drying towels I've used and the PFM to be the best. I guess YMMV
