Drying towels

PFM all the way.

Other towels have been mentioned above by highly-respected members, and I do not doubt them at all.

But since the PFM is a Griot's product, if there were ever a problem with the towel (manufacturing defect, not user error), I have no doubt that Griot's would stand behind it 100% as they do with all of their offerings.

:)

What size ? I guess Extra Large is obviously the one to get. I have the one from TRC, not bad, but want to try PFM. Price is ouch though.

I have the XL, the large, and 6 smaller ones.

I agree on the prices being a little "ouch". But the PFM's are worth every cent, and you will have them for many years if you take care of them.

I like the larger ones for bucket washes or horizontal panels and the small ones (16x16) for rinseless washes or drying areas closer to the ground.

I have the RtR soap. Good stuff

I am loving my PFM drying towels and I found a towel that is just as nice by Klin...the duo...they are super nice

Up here in Canada Carzilla is the go-to for the most brands, great people too. Anyway, I have been buying Detail Popo microfiber rags (or small towels I guess you could say) from them and saw they had drying towels also. Bought some and they are very nice, lots of weight to them. Not sure how they compare to big brand names, but Detail Popo are priced cheaper than most of them. I do still use my blower alot though, lol.

I did the same here. I was able to buy two DP 1400GSM Twisted Rain towels for ~$19CDN less then the price of one the Griots PFM (I could have literally gotten three DP ones for the same price!) I just couldn't accept spending $56-63CDN on a drying towel :/ I can do my whole car with one DP towel, and use the second for final drying of all the nooks and crannies...

Not sure what brand I picked up at Wally World for $4.99 each, but I managed to dry an entire car with one a few days ago & didn't wring it out until I was done.

Has anyone here tried either of these drying towels?
I’m wondering how they may compare to the PFM.

TGC the double twisters or the twist n’shout drying towels.

Thanks
Jim

The Double Twistress is really nice.

I have some of their waffle weave, but usually use Eagle Edgeless to wipe off the ONR, followed by TRC terry weave. The Double Twistress might be my new final wipe towel.
