Hot, Humid, Rainy: couldn't have picked a crummier day for swirl removal. Although the #83 sure didn't dust!

New Customer just bought a used 99 Cobra with a Vortech blower. Nice car but the dealer trashed the finish over 100% of the car! Plus, there was some re-paint work I found that the owner didn't see.

Wash 'n clay (very little needed)
Cyclo + #83 + Orange pad for 5 hours of painstaking work
PC + AIO + Green pad to bring out a nice shine and check the #83 results
PC + Wolfgang DGS + Blue pad.

The toughie was working in the garage with super cloudy/ rainy sky.

Swirl Pic - 2: The entire car was like this

Finished Cobra before the sky opened up again

One More: The storm clouds were just rolling in and 5 minutes later it rained.

It finally quit raining enough for the customer to get the car. He's pretty happy now! Wants me to detail the Cobra 3-4 times a year.

I'm real tired folks! Good Night!

Oh...my.... These dealerships greatly annoy me with their terrible misuse of Rotary Polishers. What did you charge for that detail? Terrific Job on the makeover.Sorry for all my questions but was most of the paint factory ford clear or repaint? I bet the owner was estatic when he saw those results two thumbs up!

Ay those pics of the swirls gave me physical pain to see!!! In spite of the weather you did an A-W-E-S-O-M-E job!! :applause:

ay! I wish that was my car! :( I love the Cobras.

Nick: well, it is a 99 and he did buy it at a used car lot. But whoever the used car dealer used was awful..! The black plastic cowling trim had tons of compound splatter. Between the hood edge and the fender edge was just as bad.

Most of the car was original Ford black with a clear coat. The hood had been repainted and the front bumper had been repainted...and they missed painting the very bottom of the bumper!

He just sent me an e-mail thanking him and said to reference him for anybody that is considering using my detailing services..that's as good as it gets IMO.
