I have a spider in my car! A few days ago i got in my car to leave work and on the windshield in the corner was a big black hairy "jumping" spider. In jersey, i don't know where else they are, we have these big hairy jumping spiders that don't spin a traditional web, but use a long thread web. They jump on there prey instead of catching them. Well they have a very thick nasty web, and i have one living in my car.

I tried to get him but of course he got away, and now every day i get in my car, there is a big mess of webs every where! What a stupid problem to have. today I'm driving home and looking in my rear view mirror, i see a web stretching across the two backseat headrest. I just had to laugh. he already came down in my line of sight while driving from my sun visor, i swatted at him towards the window and of course he just fell on the floor and went under my seat. hopefully he will leave or die soon, webs on my radio, gear shifter, steering wheel, etc.

just thought i would share this funny story, maybe some of you have had similar problems?

Does she write words in her web, in order to save you from going to slaughter?

Sorry, but when I see a chance to make a Charlottes Web refference.... I take it!

If you have a strong vacuum cleaner, you might have better luck getting him with that.

That happened to me. I was driving and i saw this spider on my windshield and I had to kill it, I hate spyders i got bit last summer working construction with my dad and it looks like I have a third nipple (kinda from the scar) it got all swollen (the sixe of a golf ball) filled with pos. I had to get a shot and take meds to get it all out was pretty nasty lol.

We don't have this issue in Florida.
Spiders? Oh, yes!
Spiders able to survive in a car in Florida heat with the windows up? Not So much!

I had that problem the other week... one day after getting a haircut i saw that sucker in my back seat side window, i took off my shoe and very quickly and cautiously put my seat foward and smashed the living guts out of that hairy spider! nomore webs

When I had my first car (1988 Bronco II) i had an infestation of little spiders and there were webs EVERYWHERE....so me being terrified of spiders said nuh uh and got some spider bombs for a house :bat: well I put two in my car with the windows up :D I couldn't even see in my car lmao.....well the problem was gone after that one....It smelled for a while after that and I glowed at night :poke: but hey no more spiders!!! Im the MANIm the MAN

If I ever spotted a big hairy nasty spider in my truck.

I would have to pull off to the side of the road, get out, and do the Icky Dance.

Those things make my skin crawl.

:iagree:

Yes I have had to deal with spiders in my car, but I just grab my bottle of Pinnacle Advance Finishing Polish and you guessed it, I polished it off with just one swing.

No groaning please.
