Durable sealant for black?

i sent my last post into autogeek.net in the mail via usps.

If i had to pick ONE product for durability and looks, I would say Collinite 845. Seems to last the longest out of all the products I have and looks great to boot! Maybe not looks the BEST, but you have to give something up for the durability. It sure does make it look wet though, not sterile and overly glossy like Zaino can do to certain colors.

:dunno:What does this have to do with detailing????

:iagree::dblthumb2:

Your post made it out to say that we were either texting while driving or stealing from out employers. Please forgive me for not having a sense of humor towards a retarded post like that.

When i read it, i thought it was hilarious. Had to show it to my wife! Different strokes for diffferent folks :)

Like when the iPhone came out and every e-mail had "Sent from my iPhone" attached to the bottom from the signature.

If you are looking for durability, then by all means try Finish Kare 1000p Hi-Temp Paste Wax. If you do a search of the various detailing forums, you will quickly discover that it is widely regarded as one of the most durable synthetic sealants on the market. The members of Detailing World voted it the 2009 detailing product of the year. With the exception of the Klasse twins, I cannot think of a more durable sealant now sold by AutoGeek.

I put on three coats of 1000p on our CR-V in early October. The vehicle has been washed numerous times, including a couple of visits to the local coin-op. The protection is still holding up well (at least if beading is any indication), and the car looks great.

1000p is easy to apply and remove and has a signature look. After a couple of days of curing, it looks like an additional layer of clearcoat has been applied. It's also an excellent value.

:iagree: I did the same thing for this winter along with a first coat of FK2180. It is holding up great and I like the look on black
