Duragloss #101 and #105

So Al when I am going to make my car ready for the Norveigan winter with lots of salt.. Would it be 501 - 601 - 105? Or should I go for 101 - 105?

I am going to have a Duragloss order soon:awesome:

I would do the 501....601....105......

wait a day between the 501..and 601>105.....

I am doing a section like this now..on the roof of my truck to see what its like..I did 501 today...rest tomorrow.....

I love some talk about DG :) I did a red F-150 crewcab 2001. The truck was corrected with XMT360 awhile back, but after the owner took on washing it himself and doing quick rinses it was in bad shape again. I spoke with bradley "shadybreal" yesterday and he said go with the 501 then 105 like AL spoke of. Actually he got his info from AL to begin with, sol today I took some DG101 and applied with a wolfgang applicator after a wash with DG901. MAN DID IT CLEAN!! This red truck was crazy wet, but I had to top the cake with "opti-seal" and boy did it set the red on fire. Thanks to AL-53 and "shadybreal" for the communication on this awesome combo. I will get some pics next time I do this for useful info.

Again the process.. I washed and dried, hand applied 101, waited 30, buffed with blue indigo, applied opti-seal by hand... then stepped back and said "WoW"

Ehuth1: that was also my impression when i applyed the 101 the first time. just step back and, WOW. Now try to wash the applicator pad clean, i didnt manage to get it clean again after ive used it with the 101, i even tryed Zalo (dish washer) and that didnt remove it from the pad, talk about durability.....

imo the 101 looks better than the 105, but that can be cos ive got a solid red colour, im also impresed when it comes too the 111, that realy "hate" water, and i have a probelm using my foam lance/gun cos the soap just slides of quickly, the 111 have been on the car for about 4 weeks, and it still sheds water like mad. therfor i will probably keep using the 111 as a LSP on my car.

Just rewashed a car today that i had used the 101 on for a long time ago, and that also had nice bedings, but it had to be boosted with the DG aquawax to get the gloss back.

(Posting it in Show`n shine later)

The 101 really cleans...but the 501 super cleans....even after polishing the paint with menz....the pad still comes up black with the 501....I did a 4x4 area ..the roof..and the pads is almost solid black....

101 and 111 have a glossy look...but the 105 has a resin also to mimick a wax so it has a deeper look than 101 or 111...but the 105 has newer polymer tech and will last much longer....

I think of 101 and 111 to look like Klasse SG..the 105 to look like Z5 pro...

the 501 is glossier than 101 or 111..but has no real depth to it..but more so than 101 and 111...

Shaby called me the other day about the 501 as he just got some...I told him to try the 501>105 combo.....since I have used 501 on my wheels there is do brake dust adhesion....just wash water removes whats there...501 was formulated to be slick to resist water line scum build up and it does prevent brake dust adhesion

Here are the pics from yesterday on the red F-150 I was talking about.

Everything was DG except for the tire shine and optiseal.

101 was the cleaner applied by hand.

Yoiu just got to LOVE red........sweeeeet Ehuth

Since 105 and 111 is out, how would Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealent do over 501 - 106?
Or is it anything else I should try?

Not that im 100% sure, but i think that you can use 99% of all sealants together with the 501 and 601. But you probably dont need the 601 if you get the 501, that preps the surface well, and you can put a sealant right over it. ive never had any bonding issues with the101 and 105 with other produckts (ink wax over it)

And AG needs to reorder the 105 and 111 asap, winter is comming, and we neeeeed it...lol

you can use most sealants over either 105..101..501...the only one that may not play well right over them is Klasse SG...but it if use a acrylic glaze over the DG ....SG will then do well....wax has no problems over the DG....collinite over DG is a killer winter protection shield....
