I'm with you---I also am a 501 user and proud to admit it.
I guess i stand a lone here. I do not use 105 instead I use 501 better cleaning, same looks and durable. I also like 111 on certain cars and colors, it is a pure sealant no cleaners.
isnt the 501 for RVs and boats? and 105 designed for vehicle clear coats?
im building my DG collection, and might just have to add 501 to the group :dblthumb2:
ok cool! thanks for the response. what color pad do u use? i usually us red for sealants, but with the cleaning ability would i want to use green(lake country ccs btw) kind of like an AIO? do u apply it like a sealant or like a polish? pressure? passes? i know i know! test spot! lol
once you use the 501 and the rest of the dg products you start to find the rest of your products in the back of the shelfYes and no. Yes it is called a marine polish. It does however also contain some amazing properties for cleaning paint. It also has outstanding protection all on its own since it is designed for the marine market. Think outside the box on this one. 501's capabilities and peoples' experiences with it are well documented on this site. Trust me and Richard Wright and the other DG (heavy) users: get yourself some 501. I promise you won't be disappointed!!

Usually a white LCC pad either with rotary or DA. (speed 5 or 6 with the DA).

Why do you use speed 5 or 6 with the DA? Does 501 have some cutting ability?
Yes, cleaning ability. See this thread for how it does:
