Duragloss 501/601 premix

I've done it both ways-- pre mixed and one before the other. Splitting hairs, but I feel like I got a little more gloss when using it 4:1 pre-mixed. I don't think it really matters how one approaches it.

I don't see why priming the pad with the 4:1 mixture and then continuing to mix on the pad itself would be a problem...then again maybe it would be a problem because 501 is so thin on its own and may be too thin to form a 'whatever' sized dollop on your pad. Bad idea I guess.

I'm no chemist, but based on how the mixture thickens and obviously does have a chemical reaction, I'm thinking that it is best to take advantage of that and pre-mix it at least an hour before and take advantage of that reaction.
