I haven't read any of much reviews on the Duragloss Fast Clean & Shine Detail Spray

I'm wondering about people's experience on this product because it can be used as a cleaner to remove dust unlike Duragloss Aquawax.

Also, I was wondering if this product is a good alternative to Finish Kare 425 with its anti-static properties.

Can this be used in combination with other products or just the Duragloss line?

No one has tried the DG Quick Detailer?

I liked it more than Aquawax truthfully, but found it to be more of a detail spray (adds gloss and slickness) versus a quick detailer. Similar to FK425 and FK146 I suppose.

For a true quick detailer, I still come back to Mothers Showtime or Poorboys Spray/Wipe.

Why do you like it better than Aquawax?

What's the difference between a detail spray and a quick detailer?

Agree with Killrwheels. After using Aquawax and 921 for extended periods, I found I like 921 better. Gives the paint a hint of gloss and very slick. I get it by the gallon..PS.. When I was at a local detailing get together, we compared Zaino Z6 to 921, we all came to the same conclusion, its the same product, for what thats worth.. 921 doesn't get alot of press but its a top tier product in my tests.

So Aquawax doesn't give as much gloss and not as slick as 921, in your opinion?

try dg521. its the marine version of 921. slicker with better cleaning ability.

I use the 521 over the AW. I always follow a wash with a 521 wipe down, cleans and shines well with no buildup. With 2-3 washes per week AW builds up and holds dirt.

Fast Clean and Shine is my all time favorite QD. Never tried FK but have tried plenty others. I also mix it with 20% Aqua Wax.It's great stuff.

Since boats and RVs are made of different materials than an automobile, would the 521 still be compatible with car paint? I am thinking if they have a better product, why don't they just sell one that can be marketed for car, marine, and rv?

I talk to Duragloss and they told me that #521 is more concentrated verion of #921.

I mix 75% #521 and 25% #951 to get a higher gloss..... :props:

Is it concentrated enough to remove existing wax or sealant? Both products are the same price. Is there a reason why you wouldn't just use one or the other instead of just mixing them together? Have you tried them separately?, and if so, how's the gloss of each on its own.

It cleans and adds a coat of sealant....

Don't they both do that? Have you tried them both seperately? I'm not understanding why you decided to mix them together.
Don't complicate this more than it needs to be, your getting caught up in paralysis by analysis... Just get some 921 and be done with it.

I am glad to see that someone else also likes Mother's Showtime QD. For the price, always available OTC and the fact you basically get it for free if needing Mother's clay in a pinch, you cannot go wrong with this product. Not to mention, it's great cinnamon smell. I for one use this as my primary clay lubricant and works great.

#951 is mostly (concentrated) sealant...No true cleaning...It adds more glossness and slickness to sealant and wax you have on your paint already....It adds the Bling Bling and protection....It isn't a quick detail spray...You use it after washes........:dblthumb2:

No, I think like most people here that are D.O., we like to get into 'detail' into these things, and find out which products are the best and what suits each application the best. DG offers 2 options, why not find out more about each? before making a purchase.

I see. So when you are talking about #951 being more concentrated, you are talking about the protection part of the equation. So would that mean #921 would have more cleaning power than #951, but less sealant?

#921 isn't a sealant at all, it's a quick detailer. #951 is a spray sealant used best a topper for added protection. #951 should only be used after a wash(no cleaning power), while #921 can be used for light cleaning between washes.
