I used Aqua Wax on the companies service van on Sunday after I washed it with 901 as I wanted to see how the appliance white looked afterwards. To say I was impressed is an under statement. Today I decided to rinse the van down since it had traveled a few dirt roads. The water literally ran off the panels. I do not think I have ever seen this action on anything that was even freshly waxed/polished. The same thing happened with the 32' gel coat 5th wheel that I applied 601/105 6 months ago with no Aqua Wax applied, the wash solution and water literally ran off the panels there also. I have never used a spray wax before as the old school in me figured it was worthless but this has made me a believer. If you have not tried a spray wax you have to give this stuff a try, you will not be disappointed.

Dave,

There hasn't been one Duragloss product that I haven't been thoroughly impressed with and Duragloss Aquawax is no exception!! It's so easy to use, smells great, and wow what a gorgeous shine! :props:

Yeah Bobby. I'm finding the same thing. Impressed. I have been a long time Zaino fan, but this Duragloss could possibly swing me.

Welcome to Duragloss, enjoy your stay. :dblthumb2: If there are any other products you wish to try just drop me a pm. :)

When you look at pricing and effectiveness, it's about the best out there....

I did the 901/AWax combo and one thing that I was not expecting is that the paint had very little dust after 3 days of windy conditions with pollen and seeds flying around everywhere. I was actually shocked at this finding.

Aquawax is probably one of the most under rated products on this site. I use it as a spray wax, qd and drying aid. A few sprays on your wet car then towel dry is a no effort gloss enhancer.

Thanks. My next order I have in the wish list include 253,755 and 751 as I have read good reviews on these also. Come to think of it I have not read a bad or so so review on any Duragloss product that I can think of. Although the 751 will probably be for looks only in the Phoenix area. The Monsoons are coming so it may be of some use.

Dave, I used to be a Zaino guy too years ago until I learned about DG products. I have not looked back and my cars look better with way less effort AND cost!

The ironic thing is this all started trying different products for the RV as it seemed 3 to 4 months was maximum with me on the end of the buffer removing oxidation. Then I tried the 601/105 in late November 2011 and the RV 6 months later looked like late November 2011. Finding that it lasted 6 months and will probably go another 6 has impressed me so much I have been buying more Duragloss products and have not had one bummer moment.

For the price it's really a great product. I just started using it myself a month ago after having it recommended on the forum and was very impressed. :dblthumb2:

Hey Guys,

I don't mean to threadjack but, I just picked up some AW yesterday to use as my drying aid along with my Cobra Guzzlers. However, I remember reading somewhere that spray waxes will decrease the effectiveness of waffle weave microfiber drying towels over time. Have any of you experienced this? I suppose I can just use regular microfiber towels, but that will defeat the purpose of me buying the guzzlers. :(

I haven't used AW yet, but I'm excited to try it. I've used Eagle One Wax-As-U-Dry for a few years now as a drying aid, and I liked it. So I'm thinking AW will be even better.

I would love to hear you guys' input though regarding the guzzlers and AW. Thanks!

John

So this stuff sounds like an "enhanced quick detailer", am I right? I'll tell you what, since joining this site I don't think I'll ever be able to have any brand loyalty anymore:props:

That's sort of one way to look at it. :) Technically speaking, Duragloss offers 4 types of QD - Fast Clean & Shine, Aquawax, Rinseless Wash, and you can even cut Rain Repel 50/50 (I think).

Do you think AW is better than Z8, or about the same?

Aqua Wax is definitely better in the price range and appears to have a slight edge on Z8. The gloss seems to reach it's peak with in 12 hrs after application and I found Z8 to be the same. I am also using Duragloss 932 No Rinse with Aqua Wax (built in) which also is a great product so I should be well protected all around.
