Duragloss Aquawax is the real deal!

I can't say I've had this problem but its good to know DG has another product for such issues if need be!

No I have not seen the halo effect at night. I know what you mean. Believe it or not I used to get that from rain x.

When you use it on your windshield, do you get the halo/streaking at night ? I hate anything on my windshield. I use the Duragloss Window ReNu or whatever it's called to keep the windshield glare free.

I hate that wiper trail effect at night. Pretty much blinds me when hit with oncoming headlights. I started noticing this when I started using carwashes with wax etc. in the forumlation.

To he honest with you I haven't noticed streaking accept once, I didn't do a good job cleaning the glass before applying the Duragloss but if you clean it well first you shouldn't have any issues.

I just did all the windows on the 99 Dodge Quad cab, Wife's Sienna and Daughters Escort. I used DG's 755 Nu-Glass with a DA then 751 Rain Repel. Those windows are slicker than snot from a runny nose and perfectly clean. When ever I tried Aqua Wax they always seemed like someone put a fine oil film on the windows as the Aqua wax did not seem to dry. I have not tried it since the cleaning but the Rain Repel does such a good job I may never bother.

I haven't had much luck with rain repel on the windshield. Does it require a cure time?

Since I have a new car I'm thinking about buying something for the windshield that will last longer, not sure what yet.
Like to stick with the DP brand if it works well?

Don't know of a cure time, I usually do them after the weekend wash and unless some strange phenomenon ( known as rain to some ) happens they do not see water until the next wash. When it does rain, sometimes weeks later the rain repel is still there and bug debris also cleans off easier. What problem do you have ?, maybe contaminated glass ?. Is glass clean when doing baggie test ?. Just throwing ideas out there. I also use glass polishing microfibers when using it if that may make a difference.

It just doesn't repel water as good as others say. So I started using a glass coating instead.
