How is the Duragloss car wash? Good in a foam gun?

If I had to guess it should work just fine because I've used numerous soaps like DG's w/o a problem. I've never used Reset or Bathe in there though but then again, IMO, these are reserved for 2 BM washes, whereas a quality, less expensive carwash soap like that of DG, works great as a pre-wash or foam/dwell/rinse on a dusty car w/ great LSP

Sorry for possible long winded explanation

Really good car wash. Similar to optimum car wash and Hyperwash.

Only issue I have with it is the cherry cough syrup scent.

Yes it works fine in a foam gun. I still have an unopened gallon in the garage. You have to be okay with the cherry smell.

I've been happy with it as a hand wash.

I’ve used it for a long time and I’ve never noticed the scent enough to comment on it. I haven’t used it with a foam gun but I’m going to get a Foammaster soon and will be using it as I wash, not as a prewash. I have a pressure washer foam gun from MTM PF22 but it came with DP foam soap that I’m almost out of now.

Agree 100%. Right up there with OPT and Megs HW. And the scent is definitely strong cherry, but not horrible.

I should have mentioned I recently researched this exact product for use with a Foamaster since I already have a gallon of DG901. My research suggested the foam was good though not necessarily as good as a dedicated foaming wash. However, if you want more foam using less soap, you may want to look at a product like Blackfire Foam Booster. Without Foam Booster, you may need to use 3-4 oz of soap vs 2 oz of soap with .5 oz of Foam Booster. The BF Foam Booster may be expensive but you don’t use much and it would reduce the amount of soap you need while giving more foam.

I really like the Duragloss Rinseless wash
I remember making my original "FrankenDetailer" using this, then came WGU and I moved on and on and on

It’s a nice shampoo for sure. I personally prefer Optimum, especially since Optimum is .5oz per gallon dilution ratio compared to DG 1oz per gallon dilution.

I also don’t use it anymore for the dilution ratio, worked fine but for me not as cost effective especially compared to HW

It's been on my list of soaps to try. Interesting comments about the scent. Mark me down as someone that likes "drug store cherry" scent.

I've used this as my regular car wash soap for a couple years now and I'm happy with it, cherry scent included.
I don't have any experience with the others mentioned above, so no basis for comparison.

I've been using Duragloss Wash since July almost exclusively in an MTM Hydro PF22 Foam Cannon. I was previously using Pinnacle Bodywork shampoo and liked it too. I'm adding about the same amount to the foam cannon bottle and the foam is great. The scent is not that big a deal. The price per gallon is considerably lower. I would purchase it again.

I picked up two bottles at a local auto part store last week for....0.05ea, needless to say I’m checking all of their stores around town!

Since AG no longer has the gallon size of the wax shop cherry foam soap, i got a gallon of the CG honeydew snow foam.
