Duragloss Issue

From the DG website: "Step Saver Tip - Blend 1 part #601 to 4 parts of either #101, 105, 111, or 501 for added durability and gloss. Accelerates the curing process for instant bonding. Apply within 2 hours after mixing for maximum results."

"after mixing" indicates to pre-mix not mix on the pad.

Thanks for the replies guys, i will give DG105 a try,sso far was using Jeff Werkstatt Prime and Klasse AIO,do you think that DG105 has better cleaning power than these other two?

Years ago I used Werkstatt sealant a lot. I forgot the name but I think at some point it was changed to "Trigger" something or other. Back then there was no reason to use any other medium duty polish - there was AIO and that was all I ever needed. I followed that with either the Werkstatt or the Klasse Sealant Glaze. Even to this day I don't think you can beat AIO, although I have heard the formula may not be quite the same today as when I used it. It is just that there are so many others to choose from these days.

DG105 is great too. Which is the better performer? Which gives the better look? The better application? The better value? Everything is subjective and relative to many factors. Which is "better" is hard to say. It is much easier to say that both will perform well for you as a mild prep for your LSP. In fact, they aren't too shabby as stand alone products themselves!

Think of it as this, you would use a cleaner wax before a finishing wax, same logic applies here. DG 101 or 105 before DG 111...

Does this mean I can get 1 1/2 years applying the combo in this manner? :D:joking:Wasn't aware that DG 111 was pure sealant, nor that 105 had cleaners. I just assumed that 105 had more sealant since it's touted to last the longest.

Yes,they changed a little the formulation when released the new sealant, now named "acrylic trigger" and the cleanser "Prime".This combo is absolutely gorgeous on white, one of the bests but reading about Duragloss on white here in AG i tought... i want to try it ¡¡

As i love spray sealants,my new combo will look like that:

DG105+DG Aquawax every two weeks or so.

I think it will look very good.
