Duragloss Total Performance Polish

Well folks, I was fortunate enough to be chosen by Autogeek to win a Ron White autographed bottle of Duragloss Total Performance Polish in the giveaway thread and have decided to trade the special bottle to forum member rwright for a "non-special" bottle to be used by me. I was excited to win, but I'm more excited to try out something new. However, I'm not at all familiar with this product past the store description so I'm looking for some tips and tricks.

Can/should it be applied by hand or DA? What pads? Should I allow it to haze or is it WOWO? Anyone who has used the product is free to chime in. I'll try to do a decent review once the weather warms up enough to do a proper job. I'll most likely either be doing a 2008 Polished Metal Metallic (think dark gray) Honda Accord or a 2011 Sterling Gray Metallic Lincoln MKZ, if that will matter.

I apply with red pad and DA. Use with DG601 first or mixed 1:4 for better bonding and durability
 
I've always applied by hand, but I have no alternative. It works well either way. If your paint is smooth, it works well as a stand-alone. I apply to whole car, and then start buffing (removing) where I started applying. It needs to haze some. It's very easy to work with. I typically use it on top of DG101.

The only negative I have, is that dust sticks to it like crazy -- more so than other products I have.

I want to see it on your MKZ, and post pics. I just bought a new '10 MKZ AWD 2 weeks ago (White Platinum Tri-Coat). I love it! I plan to ONR + seal it tonight.
 
It's safe to treat it like any other liquid wax, apply, allow to haze, remove. I've never experienced the dust collection issue so I won't comment further. As mentioned, the 4:1 ratio with DG #601 was created by forum member Richy and verified by Duragloss to be sufficient. The DG #601 accelerates the cross linking of the polymers and allows layering within 2 hours, unless you can bake it in the sun. You will notice the slickness after it has fully cured, usually the next day. I coated our Regal with one coat to test durability. After several touchless car wash visits it still beads like a champ. I haven't even boosted it with Aqua Wax.

Don't worry though, your package will have more than DG #105.
