Hi,
I have noticed that some LSPs attract dust more than others.

For example I have applied to my black car Meg M20 after Menzerna polishing, and on some surfaces the Megs Wax, after polishing with Menzerna

After about one week of driving, M20 surface attracted significantly more dust - some have said that waxing after M20 is not needed.

Anyone has noticed significant dust attraction after a certain LSP?

Happy new Year!

I can notice it after a night. A week of driving ain't bad.

Indeed even after few hours dust will show, but is significantly more on some panels.
If I have to eyeball it - is maybe 5 times more dust on panels LSP'd with M20 than on the ones waxed

So maybe M20 shall be followed by wax?

Yeah I think there's something to this. Obviously a hard thing to measure. But when I apply Ultima Acrylic Spray Wax, it seems to attract a lot more dust than DG Aquawax or Megs Ultimate Quick Wax. I tend to think carnaubas attract more dust than sealants. But I don't like making a blanket statement like that-- there are alaways exceptions. And there are numerous extraneous factors that come into play. Temps, humidity, environmental conditions, etc.

If this same M20-issue was causing
me to experience a similar state of
consternation as yours...then I would
no longer be using it on that vehicle.

I've been very impressed with the lack of dust issues since going to Optiseal and ONRWW. Much improved over other products I was using.

I have noticeably less dust sticking to he back of my C Class wagon (White) following Carpro essence and reload, vs collinite 845...

Demonstrably so when after a few days commute I waterless wipe down the car.. a lot less black coming off now than before..

Is the dust attracted to the LSP or the static produced from the microfiber towels used? I think the static produced from wiping causes the dust attraction more than the LSP

Absolutely the way it works.

Static from the wiping stays with the surface.

Try grounding the car after wipeing may help.
