Rather than deal with the PITA of redoing them with new fabric (Mine are fine, I just want to go black) I am thinking of dying them.
Has anyone done this? If so, what brand dye did you use, any special tips/process and how did it turn out? Finally, how long ago was it done & how is it holding up today?
I used SEM dye to fix a screwed up airbag cover on an old Mustang & I used VHT dye many many years ago to dye panels in my old Camaro. The VHT dye was garbage.
