Aren’t the flex tools still made in Germany?

How come we started with Dynabrade and ended up with Flex talks here ...:wowwow::dblthumb2::cheers:

yes. the ownership seems to be the only change.

as long as any product has quality parts, components, internals/externals, raw materials, it doesn't matter where it's made. a good product is a good product. period.

Because there are not many forced rotation tools to compare and Flex is the leader of the pack.

6.8 mm orbit...
one thing i'm not fond of are the 6 screws (judging by the holes on top of the backing plate) that are holding the backing plate (time will tell if there will be issues) on. would rather see one big one as featured on the flex 3401...

saw this on DI's new products page (pre-order) and the listed MSRP is $474.99. curious to the reviews when people get it in their hands...

here's a partial description from DI...

The powerful 1000-watt motor is perfectly suited for detailing applications and the thumb controlled speed dial offers 11 speed settings (150 to 350 opm).

I'm surprised that renny doyle/dynabrade haven't released a detailed video on this polisher in action just yet (going through speeds, etc.). at an MSRP of $474.99, it's not going to be an easy sell...

You think so? I imagine it will get discounted down the the price of a Flex 3401/XCE and then Renny's name will sell it.

as of right now when you factor in tax, it's going to cost over $500 (Not Cheap). there should be more info/specs on it (live video would help) and warranty info...

I understand what you're saying, I just think Renny Doyle's name is marketing gold. I'll be holding on to my Flex, however.

His name isn’t as strong as it once was. Pretty sure when they ramp up they’ll get it into the hands of you tubers to handle the marketing…
