Spent 4 long nights last week pulling everything apart...installed new Patriot Gold dual valvesprings, Comp chromemoly pushrods, Powerbond 25% underdrive pulley....and a Patrick Guerra custom grind cam (231/235 .617/.620" 112+4LSA).

Started on the first crank, oil pressure built right up to 40psi. Drove it around the block a few times to heat cycle the valve springs so it would be ready for the next day.

Next morning (Saturday) I woke up and drove down to Diablosport and had Johan dynotune it. Final numbers were 435.5rwhp and 401rwtq - and averaged 26.5mpg on the way home.

Spins the 335s from a 50mph roll with my 300+lb friend in the car and a full tank of gas. :D

Videos will be up soon...

Oh, I also painted the rear bottom of my car black....as you can see in my sig.

Patrick G does a great job with cams. He did mine and I am VERY happy.

I'm very satisfied with his cam. I told him what I wanted (430+rwhp on stock heads/intake, stock-like driveability) and he delivered 100%.

What setup are you running?

Very nice vette. Great modding taste as well.

What kind of changes did you notice with the new cam? Besides HP

It definitely gets people's attention....I have so many people staring, and Saturday alone had tons of people complimenting it at stoplights.

Aside from that, some slight additional valvetrain noise (normal with the fairly aggressive Comp LSL cam lobes) and it smells a bit at idle. :D

I own a G35coupe and my goal is to beat z06 numbers. Its going to be ALOT of hard work. TT, built motor, BBK, suspension, wheels. God. Got 20k?

Should've just got a vette. Or atleast a ws6 or SS and did a bunch of motor work. Atleast I would've been NA.

Nice Matt! Spinning 2 wheels is fun, but lighting up all 4 going from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd is fun too :D

Stock heads, stock intake manifold, stock throttle body and MAF

6.0, 11:1 compression, edelbrock heads, patrick g cam, 3000 stall.

Lots of stuff. Its in a 02 1500 silverado pickup. I built it for torque to pull my toys. I barely touch the gas and it roasts the tires.

Very nice man and that a hellva cam lobe lift. What really suck is your making over 400rwhp/tq and getting better gas mileage then my most stock 5.0. I guess what I'm really trying to say is I hate you..........:p

Kooks 1 3/4" long tubes --> Kooks 3" offroad X-pipe --> stock mufflers w/bypass mod
