Thanks! I have it cut at 3:1 and as long as it doesn't rain it's good for a week or two. I also find gloss and durability seems to vary with tire make. My opinion on tire dressings is different then most too. I figure if it rains the car is now dirty so why does it matter if my tires still look dressed or not? 
Yes, yes, yes, well said. thank you. your right, if it rains why does it matter. thank you that is what I get too; a week or two. and if it doesn't rain here it lasts longer on my wife's car then it does on mine. so your theory on make of tire is correct.
