Hello,

I've done reviews on Hydro2 before, so this I am posting more as a tip, just in case there are people out there who dont know the simplicity and ease of use of Hydro2. While it can be used on the entire exterior of the car, I used it most often for protection for wheels, seeing as it is literally spray on, hose off. Wheels are such a pain with all their nooks and crannies, and this makes it just so easy.

Before picture, no water repellancy (yes I know the barrels are not clean)

After, notice the impressive water beading:

Clean the wheel, make sure its wet, spritz Hydro2, hose off immediately. DONE. If there is an easier way to protect wheels, someone needs to tell me!

Agree. Super easy to use and works great on wheels.

Nothing could be easier on your paint as well.

It easily lasts 3 months. Very simple to reaply as needed.

I have been using this on my entire exterior except for the tires/rubber

Would not trade it for anything

Just did my boys wheels this weekend, super easy!

Thanks. I was thinking about something for my wheels. They have many, many "spokes" and are a PITA to clean. Ordered.

Anyone running Brembo brakes try this? Those things dust up like it's no ones business!

Can it survive being cleaned with a high alkaline wheel cleaner? Please don't tell me soap and water because I prefer spray on Megs D143 hose off if this can handle it.

Works great on BMW brakes. If your rims are lightly dirty try Hydrofoam to clean AND protect them.

Robert posts on this forum from time to time and this is what he posted with regards to hydro. I am certain D143 will not remove it. But soap and water is all you need lol.

Yep... Slapping c Quartz on the barrels and face helps a lot..

maintaining with Hydro 2 makes weekly cleaning pretty effortless..

I've got a question regarding the appliance of the product.. If I'm having no hose available when washing my car, would washing with a bucket do the job? Or a continuous stream is required?

Some have used a garden sprayer and apparently achieved a good result. But I imagine this would be sufficient for wheels for example where the surface to rinse is smaller... As opposed a full Vechicle..
Unless you do a single panel at a time.. But that way I guess you may as well apply reload...
